     This firewall-friendly SMTP/POP3 proxy enables small network users to access and distribute email via a single Internet connection, eliminating the need for a dedicated mail server. It offers install-and-forget operation and superior stability. The proxy supports up to 30 concurrent mail connections and includes a mail monitor. The Trilent153 Mail Proxy is an application-level proxy. It enhances network security by enforcing mail protocol rules and offering many security promoting features, such as access control and event logging. This highly rated mail proxy is designed designed with reliability in mind. Once configured, it works unobtrusively in the background and needs minimal attention. It will not monopolize your computer resources, so there is no need to run it on a dedicated computer. Implemented as a Windows174 service, it requires Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. The service automatically starts when the computer is powered up - no user login is required. Consequently, the proxy can operate on unattended servers. This product has satisfied the Microsoft technical requirements and has earned the right to carry the Designed for Windows logo. This certification is a testimony to its quality.
