Oddnoid 1 Description :

Oddnoid is an arkanoid clone. Destroy levels of bricks to accumulate wealth (points) and beat your friends. Prove your skills with the paddle. This is a game for kids and adults alike but designed primarily for the mobile user.

Game play is very simple. Use the stylus to select menu options and to drag the paddle. The following additional controls are available:

KEY UP: Used to paused the game during game play (and resume game play) and also to select your initials if you obtain a high score.
KEY DOWN: Used to quit a game in progress to return to the menu and also to select your initials if you obtain a high score.
KEY RIGHT: used to select your initials on high scores
KEY LEFT: used to select your initials on high scores
KEY CALENDAR (Note this is Key 3 on your PDA) SAVE GAME

Note that the ball in this game is modeled on natural physics. You may imprint more speed on the ball or make it change course and bounce angle depending on how you hit it with the paddle (for those bricks more difficult to reach.)

Blocks come in 9 flavours. Most blocks take only one hit but some take 2, 5 and up to 8 hits. Try to direct the ball to gaps or places where it can get trapped and hit blocks numerous contiguous times.

The following bonuses are available:

+ Sign - Increases ball speed 10%
- Sign - Decreases ball speed 8%
$ Sign - Adds about 500 points to your score (depends on speed and other factors)
_ Sign - Adds a bounce line below your paddle so the ball is not lost
Skull - Removes 1000 points from your score
Heart - Gives you an extra paddle
Warp - Immediately takes you to the next level
Paddle Sticky - Makes paddle hold ball down for a while
Paddle Pierce - Ball runs through blocks
