Smart Editor Professional Freeware is a complete Text, Hex, Programmers, HTML Editor. Features include support for most programming languages, WYSIWYG HTML designer, Template Projects, Project Manager, FTP support, Code Library, Programming Assistants, Tasks & Notes, Plugins etc. You can even write your own wizards as Macros. The intelligent scripting features and tonnes of user friendly helpers and tools that comes with the Smart Editor Professional 2004 package can really simplify the way you write code. You can compile your source code files and projects directly from the IDE, or by using the built-in command prompt.
Smart Editor IDE has many features, like integrated Project Manager, Language Toolboxes, Code Library, Script Manager, Command Prompt, Web Browser, File Finder, Programming helpers etc . Integrated tools include Picture Viewer, File Browser, etc. Also, If-Else Notepad 1.1 (a syntax highlighting notepad-like editor) and Smart Hex-Editor are free with this version of Smart Editor Professional.
Smart Editor Professional, by default, supports almost all widely used languages, including C#, VB.NET C, C++, Basic variants, Java, Pascal, SQL, HTML, XML, CSS, Perl, JavaScript, Delphi, PHP, SE Script etc. Certainly, you can add your own (or download from web) programming language definitions. You may design your HTML pages directly from Smart Editor Pro- in the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) way. This makes HTML designing quick and easy. Smart Editor Professional also provides absolute layered designing, so that you can design web pages as various layers.
Smart Editor Pro has assistants for various purposes. For example, you can use the Task assistant to manage your tasks, the Notes assistant to keep track of notes, etc. You may also write your own scripts to automate your tasks. Smart Editor Pro has an integrated FTP client (for downloading and uploading files via FTP) and a Web browser to ease the process of web development. |
